About Us

Welcome to Henkel Construction Company, and thank you for your interest in our company.  As you take time to check out our website you’ll get a glimpse of Henkel – our people, our projects, and our priorities.

Plain and simple, our people have built this company.  From carpenters swinging hammers in the field to project managers handling multiple projects and everyone in between, the success of Henkel Construction is a direct result of the hard work of the individual members of our team.

We are also very proud of all of the projects we’ve built during the last century and we invite you to view our current featured projects.  All projects are built on a certain level of trust.  We work hard at building trust and that is why Owners return to Henkel time and again for their construction needs.

To give you a better idea of the foundation our company is built on, we’d like to share our Mission Statement.  This statement was created by and speaks for the people that have made our company successful and it cuts right to the very core of our priorities.

Mission Statement

To meet the unique needs of our customers, Henkel Construction Company offers a variety of services including construction management, design-build, and general construction. Customers count on us to use today’s technology, guided by the values and workmanship from our extensive history, to make their projects successful. Our goal is to be the Owner’s choice for construction services based on our professionalism, performance, dedication, and teamwork. We are committed to our employees and do our best to provide them with safe working environments where new ideas and growth are encouraged. In addition, we are dedicated to community service, as a company and as individuals. Henkel continues to be an organization that others have trusted for over a century to help build their future.

Today / Our Future

A lot has changed during the last century. Today we continually adapt to our clients’ needs. Our basic mission remains: provide the best building experience our customers can find anywhere. We accomplish that mission first by listening to needs, then by engineering innovative solutions, providing superior personal service at all levels, being honest in all business dealings, and delivering true value to our clients.

What We offer

Today’s Henkel Construction Company offers a full line of professional construction services delivering negotiated, design-build, general contracting, and construction management projects in many different markets. We also are adept at managing the safety concerns on project sites – not only for our trade workers, but for Owner’s staff and their clients as well. Projects range from restaurants to national retailers and hotels, from bridges to water treatment plants, from small clinics to major hospitals, and from light manufacturing to major plants, warehousing, food processing, and bio-fuels projects.

Our Partners

Today’s Henkel Construction Company collaborates with many design firms, including our own subsidiary Accord Architecture to deliver design and construction in a seamless package. As team members we consistently deliver higher quality and very creative projects, in less time, and with lower costs than can be achieved through traditional delivery methods. Our clients appreciate single point responsibility, flexibility, speed, reasonable costs, and true partnering.

Teamwork

One thing will never change at Henkel Construction Company: teamwork. We become an integral part of a client’s team; a trusted partner and quite literally an extension of that client. Today’s Henkel Construction Company and Accord Architecture have the combined knowledge, financial resources, and personnel required to perform for any client, in any region of the United States of America, and we do.

Why us?

As facilities become increasingly complex, sophisticated clients realize that although they are experts in their own field, successful construction projects are extremely complicated and require a much broader view than purely focusing on initial building costs. They seek out Henkel Construction Company for creativity, financial stability, safety management, and building expertise, knowing that one good idea can easily save them far more than the entire fee for services. Furthermore, they understand that increased quality, longevity, and ease of maintenance will reduce operating costs and increase profits throughout their facility’s useful life.
As a result, they prefer to negotiate mutually beneficial agreements with Henkel to achieve their goals. In this environment, we put Henkel resources to work alongside the Owner and designer, creating one team to deliver the absolute best value attainable in the most efficient way possible.

At Henkel we are actually not fond of the term “negotiating”. We prefer “partnering”. In Henkel’s partnering environment, every participant adheres to guidelines establishing overall project success as the ultimate priority. No idea flourishes unless it benefits the project as a whole. Time after time, by soliciting our advice on material quality, construction sequencing, safety management, and scheduling, clients enjoy reduced risk, reduced costs, increased quality, and shorter delivery times. Our rewards are significantly stronger client relationships and a long list of repeat customers.

History

In 1892, William F. Henkel founded Henkel Construction Company. He drew upon the strengths of his German heritage, a tradition of excellence and pride in a job well done. Along with his skill as a builder, he brought the dedication and craftsmanship of the Old Country tradesman and burning desire to excel in his chosen profession.

From that foundation laid more than a century ago, Henkel has been involved in nearly every phase of the construction industry. The company tradition of bringing people on board and nurturing their development has resulted in a continuum of quality spanning more than a century. Henkel continues to be at the forefront of the industry and offers a variety of project delivery systems for our clients including general construction, construction management, and design-build services.

henkel history
Helping clients achieve their goals in today’s world is much more complicated than it was more than a century ago. We are proud of the continued creativity and consistent ability of our team to mold modern technology, raw materials and traditional hard work into outstanding projects that exceed our clients’ expectations.
