NIACC Student Dormitory And Commons Building, - Mason City

Henkel provided construction management services for a new 106,500 square foot student dormitory and commons building. The new dormitory has a capacity of over 400 students and includes common areas and meeting spaces. The three-story structure includes a tiered courtyard and a rainscreen system with glass curtainwall and windows throughout the façade.

Upon completion of the new student housing complex the existing NIACC dormitory was completely demolished and the site was restored to a green space.

Over the past five decades Henkel has completed over $45 million in construction work on the NIACC campus including the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center, Muse Norris Conference Center, Recreation Center, Activity Center, Murphy Manufacturing & Technology Center, STEM Building, and the North Iowa Community Auditorium.
