Henkel Construction was hired to construct a new casino just south of the Iowa-Minnesota state line near Northwood, Iowa. In addition to this, Henkel was hired to construct a 100+ guest room hotel attached to the casino. The Owner/Manager of the hotel determined that a Country Inn & Suites would be the best fit for this location.
The design team utilized prototype designs for Country Inn & Suites and merged those designs into the location with the required connection to the casino.
The Owner also requested many modifications to the prototype designs to customize the project. In addition to guest rooms, this four-story hotel includes a pool, meeting rooms, lobby, and laundry areas.
