Façade, MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, Mason City (Design-Build)

For its branding redesign, MercyOne hired Accord Architecture and Henkel Construction. We designed and applied a new façade to the south wall of the 1941 Mason City hospital building. We also provided masonry restoration, stone window sill replacement, new elastomeric coating, and rebuilt a failing parapet wall. With access to the worksite from the top of an existing roof structure, the Design-Build project required extra coordination and careful planning of scaffold needs to ensure all surrounding areas were protected throughout site.
