North Iowa Community Credit Union, Mason City (General Contractor)

Henkel worked with Accord Architecture to renovate this 4,900 SF Mason City credit union. We carried the existing Prairie School exterior design forward to the interior renovation. The finished space thereby pays homage to Mason City’s rich prairie school history. Our reconfiguring made better use of a not fully-utilized raised ceiling area. This gave the client a more efficient space, with two additional private offices, a work room, and open office space. We achieved an updated, elegant refresh, using wood and complimentary light fixtures. We completed this North Iowa project in multiple phases while the bank was open and fully functional. Coordinating the work schedule was a challenge, but the end result was a great success!
