Water Treatment Facility, Britt (Design-Bid-Build)

After demolishing Britt’s old water tower, we restored some of its three legs to make a memorial to the historic tower. Then we used the Design-Bid-Build method for the city’s new water treatment plant. The North Iowa facility features multiwash filtration and reverse osmosis systems, and associated chemical feed controls and instrumentations. The crew replaced pumps, piping, and controls for existing wells and brought new transmission lines to the facility.
