Good Shepherd Prairie Place Condo

Good Shepherd Prairie Place Condo - Mason City

Good Shepherd Inc. added a $6.8 million condominium complex to its range of care services and facilities in Mason City. Prairie Place is a three story, Prairie School-style influenced building consisting of 32 living units with an underground parking garage. Good Shepherd returned to longtime partner Henkel Construction to build the structure. Skott & Anderson Architects was the designer.

Once the 73,028 square foot building is complete, tenants will also have access to several amenities including a large gathering room, club room and exercise area. Prairie Place became another part of Good Shepherd’s continuum of care. Individuals purchasing a unit will have priority access, if needed, to Kentucky Ridge and Cornerstone Assisted Living as well as Good Shepherd Health Center for any skilled and rehabilitative services.

Henkel Construction has completed many projects at Good Shepherd including a renovation and 21,000 square foot vertical addition in 2013. Henkel also completed a renovation project at The Manor and previously constructed a 28,677 square foot addition under the main portion of the building containing 33 beds and administrative offices.
