Henkel Construction Company completed the construction of the Lauridsen Amphitheater, walking trails, and supporting facilities at the Des Moines Waterworks Park. Plans for this project were in the works for a number of years, with the objective of providing a better utilization of this flood-prone, 30-acre space. The addition of this flood-resistant facility, with the dual-sided amphitheater as a focal point, provides amenities such as high-profile concerts, vendor/food truck areas, and trails for the community to enjoy for many years to come.
