Henkel Construction was selected as the Construction Manager for a major addition and renovation project for Prairie Ridge Integrated Behavorial Healthcare.

The $8 million-dollar project encompassed a 25,000 square foot addition and 3,000 square foot renovation situated to the east of the existing facility. The project goals were to consolidate public services by integrating the current separate Women’s Resident Program into the main facility as well as provide expanded outpatient services, enhanced client privacy, and a wellness center to be used by both clients and staff.

The building addition is composed primarily of brick masonry, cut stone veneer, glass, and phenolic resin rain screen panels with a wood texture to add warmth to the design.

Prairie Ridge has been so impressed with Henkel’s past performance on projects that it led them to choose Henkel to partner on this project as well. This relationship goes back to the early 1990s when the original freestanding addiction treatment facility was designed and constructed. Prairie Ridge relied on Henkel again in 2003 to add on the outpatient group treatment facility to campus.
