For its branding redesign, MercyOne hired Accord Architecture and Henkel Construction. We designed and applied a new façade to the south wall of the 1941 Mason City hospital building. We also provided masonry restoration, stone window sill replacement, new elastomeric coating, and rebuilt a failing parapet wall. With access to the worksite from the top of an existing roof structure, the project took extra coordination and careful planning of scaffold needs to ensure all surrounding areas were protected throughout site.
