MASTER PLANNING

Master planning is for a very large project, like a campus. Henkel helps here by analyzing the physical and logistical aspects of project delivery. We determine how projects might be phased creatively. We choose safety measures that ensure smooth flow for patrons. Finally, we anticipate potential interruptions, and either eliminate them or minimize their impact.

SITE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

Henkel is not a development company, but we do offer project development services for select clients. We have developed two very successful retail land sites in cooperation with clients. We helped these owners understand and evaluate risks and costs. We also provided value engineering services. These maximized their value and minimized schedule and cost.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Henkel’s input during design development can be invaluable. Modifying a few details can streamline construction without impacting design. We help designers understand costs in specific areas and this often enables them to do more than they thought possible. They create high value designs that our clients can afford to build.

CONCEPTUAL ESTIMATING

Our history is long and our experience is varied. We have an extensive archive of historical costs. Our preconstruction team uses this data from conceptual design information to generate viable cost budgets. Some use books of cost averages, but our budges are superior: they are based on the real costs of similar work.

HEALTHCARE EQUIPMENT PLANNING

Effective healthcare equipment planning requires a special level of understanding of medical facilities and current standards. We can provide coordination and assistance to owners looking for this specialized service.

FINANCING

You may need the assistance of financial experts on your project. While not bankers, we are adept at providing coordination between you and these experts.

PRECONSTRUCTION SERVICES

Our clients want to make sound business decisions early. They wish to establish project viability without wasting time. Our estimating and preconstruction service team can answer quality, cost, and construction questions almost as fast as our clients can ask them. LEAN – PROCESS EXCELLENCE

We like to be involved in lean processes during design. We learn first-hand the needs of the owner’s team. We come to understand how to optimize daily operations for both staff and clients.     Henkel Construction has found a niche in the healthcare market. Our healthcare projects include a vast array of project delivery systems (general construction, construction management, and design-build); new construction, additions and renovations; and involvement with every type of department within a hospital or healthcare setting. We interact well and efficiently as a team member with the owner’s staff and design firms. In most instances, this involvement starts at the beginning of the design phase and continues throughout the course of construction. We can help with every aspect of a healthcare project, from securing financing through construction and commissioning.
